Empowering Individuals to Lead, Earn, and Excel

ImpactWorks™ is the signature workforce development initiative of Always You—created to accelerate economic mobility, advance professional readiness, and drive lifelong success for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In partnership with the Community College of Beaver County (CCBC), a nationally recognized leader in workforce innovation, ImpactWorks is setting a new standard for what integration, contribution, and legacy truly mean.

This is infrastructure for achievement. The program equips individuals ages 18 and older with industry-recognized credentials, immersive training, and one-on-one mentorship—preparing them to enter the workforce with confidence, purpose, and the skills to grow, contribute, and lead.

ImpactWorks unlocks economic advancement not just for individuals, but for families and entire communities. Participants gain the tools to transition from public dependence to financial independence—creating ripple effects that strengthen households, reduce reliance on social services, and expand the region’s economic base through new talent, leadership, and innovation.

This is workforce readiness with generational return. A model built for equity, sustainability, and transformation—where every individual is positioned to thrive, and every step forward fuels a legacy of impact.

Participants are immersed in a skill-appropriate, age-affirming environment on a college campus—an experience many would never otherwise access. They gain:

  • Workforce-aligned training in high-opportunity sectors

  • Noncredit credentialing and micro-certifications

  • Professional mentorship from local leaders

  • Entrepreneurial exploration

  • Hands-on learning through job shadowing and internships

  • Monthly workshops that sharpen communication, self-advocacy, and career readiness

But ImpactWorks doesn’t stop at professional preparation. It is a launchpad for identity, confidence, and economic agency. The program creates a future where participants they redefine what’s possible through talent and tenacity.

At the core of ImpactWorks is a dual-benefit model:

  • Participants thrive through tailored support that prioritizes dignity, capability, and contribution.

  • CCBC students pursuing careers in education and human services receive real-time, applied learning in integrated environments—developing cultural fluency and professional excellence from day one.

The result: a powerful feedback loop of impact that enhances both individual lives and institutional outcomes.

Caregivers are also essential to this model. Through the Always You Caregiver Academy, families gain advocacy training, leadership support, and practical strategies to navigate systems, support independence, and build multigenerational legacies of strength.

Employers are brought into the fold through strategic partnerships that match participants with companies aligned to their goals, skills, and long-term vision. Businesses benefit from a more diverse, prepared, and purpose-driven workforce, while communities experience the ripple effects of expanded inclusion and economic growth.
